2020 Celebration of Faculty Excellence Ceremony
Over 370 faculty members, representing each department in the School of Medicine, were recognized at the virtual 7th Annual Celebration of Faculty Excellence Ceremony and Reception on October 28th. We recognized new senior promotions, highlighted excellence in teaching, research and clinical service by commending those that have been awarded the Dean’s Teaching Award, faculty inducted into the Millipub Club and Emory 1% awardees, and physicians and other healthcare professionals at the Emory Clinic, the VA, CHOA and Grady who have received outstanding patient satisfaction scores. We also recognized Hidden Gems as selected by their Chairs as well as faculty members who had received awards and honors on the regional, national, or international level. The event was capped off by recognizing the winners of the Emory School of Medicine Mentoring Award, Distinguished Service Award, Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Award, Impact for Innovation Award and the Lifetime Service and Leadership Award recipients.
